Whew, sorry there weren’t many posts last week, between moving apartments and then traveling for the holidays, there was literally NO time to line up posts for the week, so sad! However, my boyfriend likes the drive, which means that I got to just sit and read for our entire holiday driving adventure. I think all told we drove about 22 hours on the long parts, ie not counting around town and to the country for the grandparents and aunts and uncles etc. However, this meant lots of reading for me in addition to a sore butt, haha!
What did you recently finish reading?
Yey, I finished Graceling last week, actually, while driving boxes to my new apartment! Then I finished Starflower and Libriomancer on the “Great Minnesota Adventure.” I actually started and finished Libriomancer, which was pretty fun ;-) since I had been wanting to read it for a long time :D.
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m super pumped to inform you all that my library did decide to follow my recommendation and purchase an audio copy of Days of Blood and Starlight and since I requested the purchase, I get first dibs :D. I’m going to be picking that up as soon as I get back into town and that is definitely the next audiobook on the list! Finally, Entangled is in the Netgalley que of review books, so it’s up next for Kindle :D.
What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these books?

This week I’m reading The Friday Society by Adrienne Kress and also Scoundrels by Timothy Zahn. Enjoying them both.
Oo, haven’t heard of those, to Goodreads :D
Can’t wait to read what you think of Days of Blood and Starlight and Seraphina! Maybe I’ll suggest a new book, like Seraphina or Days of S & B to my library– having first dibs sounds well-worth it. Happy reading. :)
Exactly, and they are all shiny and new then too :D Even though I can’t keep them, it’s still exciting to hold a new book in your hands ;-) And it does the library a favor if you are pretty sure it is a popular book that they should have!
I really need to read Graceling. I liked the cover of Starflower, looks like it might be pretty interesting! Here’s my WWW: http://meganm922.blogspot.com/2013/01/www-wednesdays.html
yes you do :D Starflower does have a gorgeous cover, I wish I could have gotten a print version just to look at, haha! Thanks for stopping by, off to check out your post :D
Great books here! Loved Graceling and still need to get to the Laini Taylor books (I am so far behind!) The Eye of the World read a long eh? Maybe that is how I start that monster book… My WWW is here:

I completely understand feeling behind, I still haven’t read so many of the big 2011 and 2012 books and I really want to! Yes, join our read along! We are about 200 pages in now, but you can totally still catch up or go at your own pace and respond to the previous week’s questions, I’ll go back and discuss with you whenever you get to them :D
Veil looks really interesting :)

So happy that you got Seraphina! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it. I hope you love it, I know I did. xD
My WWW Wednesday
I’m pumped! Though now I have to find time to read it D: Just need to get through another two review books and I’ll feel better and take a break for fun books ;-)
Looking forward to your Days of Blood review :)
Me too! I just picked it up from the library and am loooving it!!!
I’m so envious about your ability to be able to read in a moving car! I get motion sick so I can never maximize that time. Luckily though I can do audiobooks for when I am alone in the car so that is something.
I also loved beyond loved the audio of Days of Blood and Starlight so I think that you are in for a real treat there. I was shattered by this one and am DYING for the next book. I need to know what happens next!
My WWW Wednesday can be found here.
I know, I feel so lucky! I think it’s because my parents trained me from an early age ;-) Haha, I totally don’t turn off my audiobooks when my boyfriend is in the car, gotta maximize my audiobook time! And then we end up talking about the book anyway which is fun because normally he doesn’t ask about the books I’m reading :D
Fantastic books. Love the cover of Veil, it looks really interesting. I really want to read the Laini Taylor books, but haven’t picked up book 1 yet. Soon hopefully. Happy reading!

Interesting is definitely the right word for Veil ;-) You must read Daughter of Smoke and Bone, so amazing!!!
