New Cover Celebration Giveaway (Int!)

Book Giveaway

The Second Skin Sequence by Peter Darrach: New Covers!

The Second Skin Sequence is a series near and dear to my heart because it is one of the first physical review books that I ever received. I am hesitant about indie books these days, but the story of Max and Elaine is a solid sci-fi. Therefore, I was really excited to see that they were getting covers that better reflect the awesomeness of these books and had to hold a giveaway :D. If you are a fan of space sci-fi with some really cool aliens, you have to check out this series.

Aren’t they awesome???? I’m thinking I’m going to have to order a set for myself pretty soon here…. Anyway, to celebrate, I’m giving away your choice of books from this series. Second Skin is the first book, so I’m sure most of you will be interested in that one ;-). But if you have already started this series, this is the perfect chance to continue it!

There is a bit of a wrinkle for international readers: The Book Depository cannot guarantee that the new covers will be the ones that are shipped since it depends on suppliers around the world. Peter Darrach (the author) has said that everything should be updated, so hopefully everything will go smoothly. However, there is a chance that the book you receive if you win will have the old cover instead of the new. Therefore, international readers are welcome to enter if you just want to read a great story, but if you care a lot about which cover you get, you might want to skip this one since I can’t make any guarantee.

The normal giveaway rules apply: you are welcome to enter as long as The Book Depository ships to you, the winner has 48 hours to respond to my email, I do check entries so please make sure the links are publicly accessible and I can’t be responsible for books lost in the mail.

  1. I have never heard of this series, but it does look quite interesting. I definitely understand being cautious about indie published books but am most curious to see what it is about this series you liked so much!

The new covers are really nice and fit the books quite nicely, at least from what I can tell. I looked up the old one and they, while not bad, don’t really looked to have been fitting for a sci-fi series.

Thank you for the chance to win, Anya. =)

    • I’m thrilled with how well the new covers fit, completely agreed! Yeah, the old ones I feel scream indie book a bit too much, and I have a feeling that turns some people away :(
