Owl and the City of Angels – Beware of Battle Cat + Giveaway!

Owl and the City of Angels Blog Tour

Owl and the City of Angels by Kristi Charish Blog Tour

Today I’m excited to welcome back Kristi Charish for her latest installment in the adventures of a thief named Owl! If you didn’t catch Kristi’s guest post for the first book, be sure to go read about Owl’s hunt for a cat sitter ;-). Owl and the City of Angels is out now, so go get yourself a copy and don’t miss the giveaway at the bottom!

It’s almost Halloween, so for my guest post here at On Starships and Dragonwings I decided to post the sign hanging on one Alix Hiboux’s door this October 31st. Needless to say, things never go quite according to plan…

Enjoy!

Happy Halloween – Knock for Candy!

Also, Beware of Cat (Dressed as Battle Cat)

Battle Cat

Not the actual cat, just an example from https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/175112598/cat-battle-armor ;-)

UPDATE 1: Yes…The warning about the cat is a real one. Particularly for small children dressed up as vampires. Cats have a brain roughly the size of a walnut and are easily confused. This one in particular is prone to launching himself at your small child just to be sure the teeth aren’t real. A number of parents have tried filming this phenomenon – apparently, cats launching themselves at small children is popular on YouTube these days….

UPDATE 2: No, there is nothing wrong with the cat…Lot’s of cats growl at people who show up at the door. Maybe your small child should shoulder some of the responsibility for launching himself at the candy bowl?

UPDATE 3: Ok…I can’t believe I need to put this up but due to popular demand…PARENTS: No, the blond man handing out candy is not single. No, I will not pass him your phone number. I will feed it to said cat.

UPDATE 4: Ok, seriously, parents, knock it off. I recognize those of you who have come back for seconds. I am not impressed. He is still not single.

UPDATE 5:

RE: CANDY – SEE GROWLING CAT GUARDING CANDY BOWL

  3. So, I did go read ‘Owl’s hunt for a cat sitter’ and read this one after it. Hilarious! And definitely going to add the first book in the series to my TBR. Even if urban fantasy isn’t usually my thing, the humor – and the vampire-sensing cat – sounds totally awesome!
