WWW Wednesday #10

Welcome to another WWW Wednesday, hosted by Should Be Reading! Once again it’s been more than a week, but I don’t read as fast as some of you crazy people :-P.

What did you recently finish reading?

Bam! Productive couple of weeks huh? We finished the read along for Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson and before that I had ripped right through Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi. Then I went on a trip to the Google main office (omg so cool :D) and the plane rides were a good time to make serious progress on Out of This World by Douglas E. Richards and The Testament of Jessie Lamb by Jane Rogers. I then finished those quickly this week (one while cruising in a Mustang, fun!) and so I have a lot of reviews scheduled, yey!

What are you currently reading?

There reaches a point where you need to stop promising a random Kindle book that you’ll read it “soon.” I have reached that point with a few, and so my currently reading is shorter until I pick them up again :D. I’m also moving soon so I had to return some library books that I hadn’t finished, so I won’t be getting to continue with A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin until I get to my new digs and find the nearest library :D. But don’t despair! I have plenty of review books to work on xD. I am going to continue working on Second Skin by Peter Darrach and I just got White Witch by Trish Milburn from Netgalley and am loving it so far! I also caved and re-checked out Morrigan’s Cross by Nora Roberts on audiobook to try and finish listening to it before I move (one week, half a book, here I go!).

Also of note is that Pure by Julianna Baggot was momentarily a currently reading, but I decided that it is too creepy and depressing even for a fan of dystopias, so I shall not be continuing it. It was amazing writing, but a little too amazing with a subject matter that completely bugged me. I’m sure others will love it!

What do you think you’ll read next?

So I know I said last time that I would try Fifty Shades of Grey just to say I had, but after reading more snippets, I just can’t do it! Also there are like a bazillion requests for it from the library, so I’m not going to get my hands on a copy any time soon…. I give up! Haha, onto more current books, I got Blade Song by J. C. Daniels from Netgalley and am very excited about that. I also purchased Divergent by Veronica Roth a while back when all the hallabaloo about the sequel was going, and will get to it some time here, but library books and review books keep taking over. Oh well, I have a twelve hour drive coming up next week in addition to a couple four hour drives, so I will have plenty of time to read!

Remember to subscribe for weekly reviews of awesome books!

What are you reading past/present/future?
