WWW Wednesday #18

WWW

I keep flitting between books this week, which tends to happen when I’m feeling more stressed about life in general. Due to a long wait at the doctor’s office, however, I did finish a book this week :D. I also received some very exciting books in the mail that make the future plans a little more definite this time!

What did you recently finish reading?

I was very happy to have Fate Succumbs on my Kindle when my neurosurgeon was 30 mins late to my appointment, grrr. He was also annoying, but that’s beside the point! I finished Fate Succumbs shortly after that appointment, so look for the reviews for Fate Succumbs and Time Mends soon :D.

What are you currently reading?

Second Skin, Too

I’m not pretending to read Parasite Rex actively anymore, even though I really should finish it…. There is just too much studying to do! In any case, Stormdancer arrived in the mail last week, and I just couldn’t help but start it, it’s so pretty! I’m also still working on Second Skin, Too which is off to a very promising start, including finding out more about the aliens :D. Aliens rock.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Even though Stormdancer snuck in, I am becoming more and more convinced that The Mermaid’s Madness is going to be next on the list. I’m really feeling some princess kick butt action, and Jim C. Hines is just such an awesome guy! I also, however, was clever and got my mom 3 books I hadn’t read for her birthday, and she’s lent me the first that she’s finished :D. So I’ll have to read Gunmetal Magic in the next couple of months so I can get it back to her :). I also borrowed The Lost Hero from a friend when I was snooping on her bookshelves and saw she had the whole published series :D. So many borrowed books to read (since The Mermaid’s Madness is also borrowed…)!

Remember to subscribe for weekly reviews of awesome books!

What are you reading past/present/future?

  1. One thing I love about having my Kindle at med-appts is I’ve discovered some of my docs are book-lovers, too. I’m not sure their patients later in the day appreciate my squee, since our subsequent book-chatter must throw their schedules off!

    • Oo, that’s a great point! My doc was crabby and mean though, so obviously not cool enough to love books, haha. Thanks for linking :D
