WWW Wednesday #24

WWW Wednesday

Welcome to another WWW Wednesday! It’s been insanely busy in my neck of the woods this week, but I’m trying to keep up with reading and blogging in some way :D.

What did you recently finish reading?

Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

I reached the thrilling conclusion of Daughter of Smoke and Bone  this week, and wow, just wow! I’m so excited for the next book, though I’m fairly certain I’m going to have to wait some horrible amount of time. I can’t decide if I want to listen to the next book on audio (like I did Daughter), or read it. We’ll see if the library gets an audio copy I suppose! The narrator was so freaking good! I also had to hurry and finish Mark of the Witch so I took some extra time and finished that up this weekend. It was a pretty typical urban fantasy conclusion I’d say, but still good fun :).

What are you currently reading?

Web of Lies by Jennifer Estep Delirium by Lauren Oliver Heart of the Dragon's Realm

I’m not super close to being done with Web of Lies, but it’s due back to the library soon, so there might also need to be some late night marathoning there…. Gulp. Well, I needed a new audiobook, and when I spotted Delirium at the library, I was excited since I’ve seen so many good reviews for it! It’s got a really interesting premise and I’m not disappointed :D. I also needed to start a new Kindle book, and The Heart of the Dragon’s Realm is being archived soon, so I need to read that before Netgalley takes it away!

What do you think you’ll read next?

There Comes a Prophet by David Litwack Entangled by Nikki Jefford Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver

There is a blog tour coming up in December for There Comes a Prophet so I need to read it in order to get my review ready :D. Then, when I’m ready for a new Kindle book, Entangled has been waiting patiently ;-). Then of course when I finish Delirium, I have to get the sequel, Pandemonium! I’m super excited to get through when I’m reading currently and read all of these, even though I love what I’m reading currently xD. I always have grass is greener problems! I want to read alllll the books at once!

What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these books?

Remember to subscribe for weekly reviews of awesome books!

What are you reading past/present/future?

    Alice @ Alice in Readerland

    • I’m very much loving it, though it took a very different turn than I thought :D Thanks for following! Off to check out your blog :D

  2. I glad you loved Daughter of Smoke and Bone!! Karou is awesome!

  3. Loved the audiobook of Daughter of Smoke & Bone too – and like you – I’m waiting for the audiobook version to hit my library – so hope it does! I really liked Delirium too, and hope to get to the sequel in the next few weeks.

    • You don’t live in Michigan do you? >.> Since then we might have to fight to the death for the audiobook <.< just kidding :D you can borrow it first since I have to finish Delirium :D

  4. Hannah @ Once Upon A Time says:

I think I have the follow up to Daughter of Smoke and Bone on its’ way! :)

  5. All great books. I have a few of these on my wishlist and TBR. Please come by and check out my WWW this week.

    • So far I’m loving all of them :D Especially Heart of the Dragon’s Realm, it’s freaking fantastic! Off to check out your post :D

  6. Definitely go with the audio of Days of Blood and Starlight its PHENOMENAL…I think its even better than Daughter. Khristine Hvam is quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators. I hope to get some of the other books she’s read soon and I’m eager to see how they compare. Your other books are also on my TBR list..hopefully I’ll get to them soon.

    My WWW Wednesday is here.

  7. Weeee I’m thrilled you liked DoS&B :) I’m curious to see how you’ll like Delirium since I own a copy but have yet to crack it open…anyways I hope you enjoy all your current & upcoming reads!

    • So far Delirium is a pretty typical dystopian YA, it’s got solid writing and an interesting premise, so if you’re in the mood for a typical dystopia, I’d say it’s perfect :D

  8. I’m about to start on Delirium myself! Hope you are enjoying! Here’s my WWW:

  9. Great picks, all. Most are on my TBR list. I REALLY want to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone! I hope to get to it before the end of the year. We’ll see, but here’s hoping. :D

  10. I’m so glad you loved Daughter of Smoke and Bone! I just finished my reread of it this week and dug into the sequel. AMAZING! I hope you’re able to get a copy soon, somehow.

I read Delirium awhile back, and I liked it but wasn’t as wowed by it as others. Can’t love them all I guess.

And I too need to get to Entangled. I meant to this week, but like you said, I have that reading problem of the grass is always greener. Why must there always be so many books? Its impossible to read anything without feeling guilty or wondering about the next book that you should be reading. Or suddenly remembering, oh yeah, galleys…I downloaded those. xD
