WWW Wednesday #32

WWW Wednesday

Yey, first week of school *oof* so much homework! But I managed to keep up and even got some reading done! I’m a little nervous about keeping everything balanced this term, but we’ll see ;-).

What did you recently finish reading?

Red Madrassa

Red Madrassa ended up being a fairly fast read once I actually sat down to finish it, though I’m not really sure where the plot was…. Review to come in February though, since that’s when my blog tour date is :).

What are you currently reading?

Veil by Aaron Overfield Eye of the World Days of Blood and Starlight Magick

I’m making steady progress on Eye of the World thanks to our read along :D and boy is it getting exciting! Veil just got to the next major part and took a 180 change of direction, which I think is for the best, but we’ll see what happens…. It’s been a strange ride so far ;-). I’m loving Days of Blood and Starlight on audio, it has been everything I hoped for! Finally, since I finished my Kindle book, it’s time to start another one, and I’ve had Magick (Coven #3) sitting around for a while from Netgalley. I know I have other books I should read too, but I really want to know what happens and it’s a short one, so I think I’m going to buzz through that fast :D.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Persistence of Vision Cinder

I signed up for one more blog tour for Persistence of Vision, so I should read that one soon so that I don’t have to worry about any dates hanging over my head ;-). Then, once I’ve finished Veil probably, I’m going to read Cinder darn it!

What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these books? Let me know if you are a new follower and I’ll follow you back!

Remember to subscribe for weekly reviews of awesome books!

  1. Good luck with finding the perfect balance with school and blogging! It took me awhile to fit blogging into my schedule, and have to admit that I still struggle with it at times. Looking forward to seeing what you think of Cinder, as I really enjoyed that one! Can’t wait to read Scarlet! Have a great week!

    • Thanks! It has been more difficult so far this semester since my classes are assigning so much reading, ugh! Got any tips??

  2. Sometimes you just need to go with the shiny distraction so I hope that you enjoy Magick. Daughter of Smoke and Bone is one of my all time favorite audios…the story and narrator are magical when combined and IMO book 2 is even better.

    My WWW Wednesday is here.

    • Hehe, exactly! It’s important for me to have a book I really really want to read while I’m slaving away at school, and it’s short anyway ;-). I completely agree that Blood and Starlight might be even better, I’m really loving it and I actually kind of like that the romance is no longer the central plot >.>

  3. Ahhh! I can’t wait for you to read Cinder! It was one of my favorite 2012 books, and I am SO stoked for Scarlet’s release in only a few weeks! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

    • Yey!! That’s so exciting to hear, haha, now I just have to resist getting Scarlet as soon as it’s released >.>

  4. Livvy @Nerdy Book Reviews says:

I see you are still reading, Veil! haha. I think every time I stop by that book is still on your list. I have heard good things about Cinder, so I hope you enjoy that one! :)

  5. I just finished reading Cinder and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it! I’m very excited for the sequel, Scarlet, now! :) Happy reading!

    Alice @ Alice in Readerland

  6. I’m currently reading Persistence of Vision for the tour and I really like it! Here’s my WWW:
I really need to read the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series. I’m always drawn to the covers!

    • Yey, I’m sure Liesel will be glad to hear that as well ;-) Oo and yes you do need to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone, I just gave that one to a friend for his birthday! I was so excited for him to read it haha!

  7. So excited to see my book on your blog! *does little dance* Also will be interested to know what you think of Cinder. It’s on my TBR, but it seems to be kind of a polarizing book. :D

    • Haha, me too! I’m excited to read it :D Oo really? I haven’t seen any of the negative reviews of Cinder, so I guess I don’t know what that side is xD I’ll find out!

  8. I’m also signed up for the persistence of vision tour, so I’ll be reading that in the next few weeks. Looks pretty intense and interesting.
